There are 2 parking areas - this is the main Trail head
The trail begins

The hike begins in a heavily forested area
Trilliums are abundant in season
Soon the trail begins to climb rather steeply
There are views of the Columbia River and surrounding hills
The trail is very rock and you should be cautious of your footing
Coopey Falls is off to your left as you pass by
This is an extremely popular hike, as the trail indicates
In season the trail is lined with Larkspur

Again, the trail climbs
For the most part this is a steady steep climb
There are several switchbacks which make the climb easier
Being in the forest makes the hike cooler in summer
