A Monument Pass is a per person pass, good for one day at the following recreational fee sites:

  • Coldwater Lake Recreation Area
  • Johnston Ridge Observatory

Conditions:

  • 16 and older $8 Adult Pass
  • 15 and under Free
  • Interagency Annual, Senior and Access Passes (Golden Age/Access Passes) and Annual Northwest Forest Passes* are also accepted at Monument Pass sites

*Annual Northwest Forest Passes allow one adult to visit for free at Monument Pass sites.

Monument Passes, Interagency Passes, and Northwest Forest Passes may be purchased at the Johnston Ridge Observatory.

Purchase of the Monument Pass funds a large percentage of the operations, maintenance, and programs at the Johnston Ridge Observatory and Coldwater Lake Recreation Area. Thank you for visiting!
