Catherine Creek Universal Access Trail
The trail where photos were taken is colored red.
The Catherine Creek UAT is a wonderful gift to the physically challenged
The trail makes a figure eight and one can chose either or both loops
The trail is entirely paved and has gentle slopes
From the end of February thru July one is greeted with a variety of wildflowers
The trail slopes gently toward the Columbia River
There are pull-outs for people to pass if needed
There are sturdy bridges where necessary
And there are benches to sit and drink in the views
It is often windy in this part of the gorge, so dress accordingly
There are interpretive signs along the path
Here is a bouquet of Yellow Bell wildflowers

This is the leg that connects to where you just came from
The Grass Widow wildflower is one of the first to bloom in late February
Now having retraced the cutoff, the trail continues the circle
Now the trail begins to regain the elevation lost earlier
