Triple Falls can be accessed from at least two common trailheads. You can
reach this falls by beginning your hike at the Horsetail Falls parking area
and taking the trail that begins at the east side of the viewing area for
Horsetail Falls, as if you were going to Ponytail Falls. However, for this
narrative, I will begin the hike at the Oneonta Creek Trailhead.
You begin climbing
immediately for a short distance where you hook up with Gorge Trail #400.
Bear left and follow this trail for about .8 miles when you will come to
the junction to Ponytail Falls, Trail #438. After this junction the trail
begins a more ernest climb as you hike your way to Triple Falls.
Continue to follow Trail #424 upstream for about a mile to an overlook
where you can enjoy the phenomenal beauty of this unique falls.
